Who we are:

Popov Leather is a family-owned business that designs and manufactures handmade leather goods with a focus on maintaining superior craftsmanship and quality. Since our first product in 2013, we have rapidly expanded to become one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing artisanal leather goods manufacturers.

We specialize in producing and selling high-quality leather goods such as wallets, book covers, belts, and watch straps. Our workshop is consistently busy, interactive, growing, and taking on new challenges.

What you’ll do:

This is a 1-year contract position to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of remaining on with us after the contract ends.

This role is key to making sure every customer receives the right product, at the right time, in perfect condition. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as managing returns, receiving deliveries, and keeping supplies organized.

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role that requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong focus on quality. While your primary focus will be shipping, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn and support other workshop processes when needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders with speed and attention to detail.
  • Ensure every order meets Popov Leather’s high standards for quality before leaving the workshop.
  • Receive and process returns, ensuring products are logged and restocked appropriately.
  • Receive deliveries of supplies and materials, keeping inventory organized and updated.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of office and shipping supplies.
  • Support workshop efficiency by learning and assisting with other production processes when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a fast, accurate pace in a busy environment.
  • Reliability and accountability to meet deadlines and order timelines.
  • Adaptability to shift between shipping, receiving, and light production support.
  • Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
