The leather is very thick, the straps do not slip off my shoulders as they are raw, and I can carry so much because the bags are extremely sturdy and well made. My wife absolutely loves this bag. It's not to big. It's not too small. The handle is the perfect length. It's not so long that it hangs too far down and it's long enough to put over your shoulder. She loves it.
