The Note Keeper Notebook

Great piece of kit!

I'm not a big journal guy so can't really speak for the paper quality, but I feel like the journal is a bit small for the price. The cover seems really solid though.

I have been using the Pocket Note Keeper paired with a A6 notebook cover in Heritage Brown for several months now and I have to say it's become my favourite daily carry notebook. I use the built in (on the leather cover) loop to carry a Kaweco AL Sport fountain pen and this combination is perfect. The TR paper in the notebook is lined but not too heavily and the pages numbered. The notebook itself is well bound and has double the writing surfaces of any other pocket notebook of a similar thickness due to the excellent TR paper. Highly recommend the Note Keeper range of notebooks and the excellent covers that PopovLeather make.

This Note Keeper Pocket Notebook is THE perfect size for the pocket slot in my carrying bag. The paper quality is top quality and the book itself is so elegant looking. Perfect all the way around!

ALL around note book

I only buy The Note Keeper pocket books because they are high quality and have numbered pages. I leave a couple of blank pages at the front for an index and when I note something down that I know I will be referring to I note the subject & page number in my index.

As notebooks go, it's just fine. But at the end of the day, it's just a notebook. I go to Popov for the leather stuff, not the paper. :)

It is a lovely piece I use for my business meetings. I've had several clients and friends comment on the quality thus far.

One of my favourite notebooks to write in for fountain pens! Lovely Tomoe River paper, perfect weight and size. The front cover is elegant and great to hold, the notebook overall is very lightweight and great to carry on the go. Lies flat and great for comfortable writing. I am excited should Popov ever creates blank Tomoe River notebooks for sketching as well!

As I stated in my A5 Leather Journal review, this was my second go-round. Last year, the Leuchtturm1917 was available as an option but this year it was not. IMO, the Leuchtturm1917 is superior.

The Journal looks great, the paper feels great, & lays flat after you get past the first few pages. I will most likely be ordering this again.

Way too thin. You can fold 4 pages of printer paper and staple the fold. Seriously, you will feel ripped off when you see this in person.

Excellent. Fine craftsmanship. Just love the smell of the leather.

Nice book, fits in the Popov Leather Notebook Covers, however the page strap on the book is not a good mechanism for keeping your page, it interferes with the leather and doesn't wrap around the book properly when inserted in the notebook cover. Consider getting a booklet like this that uses a page Ribbon instead of a strap.

The new range of notebooks from Popov are perfect for fountain pen users but also work well with other writing instruments. The Tomoe River paper makes then thin and light but gives 80 pages of writing surface. Perfect pairing with one of their awesome leather covers.

This is a fantastic pocket journal that pairs perfectly with their Field Notes Cover. It's much sturdier than Field Notes, plus the ink I use writes much smoother with no line breaks on the Note Keeper's paper versus that of the Field Notes. Sometimes opening up the laptop to take notes can be quite impersonal. So this comes in quite handy.
