Look, this strap is a high quality, beautiful leather strap. BUT the real kicker is the company that makes it. I had bought this strap awhile ago. Mine developed a blister or bubble but the leather wasn’t separating or anything like that. It was superficial or aesthetic in nature. It didn’t affect the strength or function of the strap.
I had contacted Popov by email just asking what would cause it and if I could do anything about it. The response was it was just an aesthetic thing that sometimes happens to thick leathers, I am sending you a new one. And he did immediately. I didn’t ask for that, I didn’t expect it but it was a very welcome gesture. So please know that Popov not only makes wonderful leather products (I own a few of their products) but they also stand behind their products.
