What are the dimensions of the Leather Toiletry Bag?

Outside dimensions are 8.5 inches by 4 inches by 4.5 inches. That is sized to fit inside a standard carry-on and still leave room for the rest of your kit. Interior volume holds a razor, shaving brush, toothbrush, full-size toothpaste, deodorant, and a couple of travel bottles.

Yes. At 8.5 by 4 by 4.5 inches the bag fits comfortably inside a standard carry-on or personal-item pocket. TSA 3-1-1 rules apply to the liquids inside, so keep any bottles at or under 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) to breeze through security. The bag itself is fine for both carry-on and checked luggage.

Is the toiletry bag waterproof or lined?

The full-grain leather exterior is water-resistant, not waterproof, and will patina if it gets wet. The interior is lined to keep leaking travel bottles from staining the outer panels. For peace of mind on longer trips, pack toothpaste or shampoo bottles inside a small zip-top pouch so any pressure-change leaks stay contained.

How do I clean and care for a leather toiletry bag?

Wipe the exterior down with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust or splash marks. Once or twice a year, rub a pea-sized amount of leather conditioner into the panels with a soft cloth to keep the hide supple. Let it dry fully at room temperature after any water exposure. Do not use saddle soap, mink oil, or household cleaners on the leather.

Is the toiletry bag stitched by hand?

No. Unlike our wallets, which are saddle-stitched by hand, the toiletry bag body is machine-sewn with bonded polyester thread. That gives a tight, consistent stitch line that stands up to a fully loaded bag being hauled in and out of a carry-on for years.

Handmade in Nelson, British Columbia from thick full-grain leather, this roomy toiletry bag is cut, sewn, and finished by hand in our Canadian workshop. A YKK solid-brass zipper runs the full length of the top with dual pulls for easy one-hand opening.

Inside dimensions are sized for a full travel kit: razor, shaving brush, toothbrush, full-size toothpaste, deodorant, and travel bottles. Outside dimensions: 8.5" by 4" by 4.5". Cleared for carry-on under standard TSA 3-1-1 limits when packed with compliant bottles.

Four colours: Natural, English Tan, Heritage Brown, and Black. Full-grain leather softens with use, darkens into a rich patina, and moulds to the gear you carry. Backed by our lifetime guarantee. If the zipper, stitching, or leather ever fails, we repair or replace it free of charge.
