Which Apple Watch sizes fit the Popov leather band?

Choose a case size at checkout. The band is made in 40mm, 41mm, 42mm, 44mm, 45mm, 46mm, and 49mm (Ultra) options. That covers Apple Watch Series 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Ultra 1, 2, and 3. Older series share these case dimensions, so earlier 38mm, 40mm, 42mm, and 44mm watches fit their matching strap size as well.

What kind of leather is the Apple Watch band made from?

Full-grain leather, the strongest layer of the hide and the only grade that develops a true patina. Our current supplier is Seidel, a North American tannery. Full-grain leather softens and darkens with use, unlike silicone or sport bands which stay flat and dead for the life of the watch.

How is the band attached to the Apple Watch?

The band ships with connectors that slot directly into the Apple Watch lug channel, the same way an Apple sport band attaches. Slide the connector in until you hear a click, then press the small release button on the back of the case to swap bands. No tools needed.

How long is the strap and will it fit my wrist?

The strap pair measures 125mm (long side) and 80mm (short side), tapered 2mm for a comfortable fit. There are 9 holes spaced 5mm apart. That sizing is designed to fit a wrist circumference between 6 and 8.5 inches. Measure around your wrist with a flexible tape; if you land inside that range, the band will fit.

What hardware colours are available?

Matte Black or Polished Silver. Match the finish to your Apple Watch case: Matte Black works with Space Black, Midnight, and graphite cases; Polished Silver works with Silver, Starlight, and stainless cases. A removable sliding keeper on the strap tail holds the excess in place.

How long does the leather band take to break in?

Most customers report the band feels broken in after 1 to 2 weeks of daily wear. Full-grain leather softens and moulds to your wrist as body heat and movement work the fibres. The first few days the strap is stiff; by week two the hole you use sits comfortably in the same spot each morning.

Can I wear a leather Apple Watch band in the shower or pool?

No. Leather is not waterproof and will not hold up to repeated soaking, chlorine, or salt water. Surface splashes from washing your hands or a light rain shower are fine. For a swim, a workout with heavy sweat, or a shower, swap to a silicone or sport band and put the leather band back on afterward. This is one of the reasons we ship with a quick-release connector.
