I’ve had my eyes on Popov products for some time and finally bit the bullet. Amazing weight and quality. It fits my Word on Fire Bible like a glove. I removed the strap by cutting it off, unfortunately. I wish the strap was adjustable at the brass fittings on the bag, but I carry it like a book so the strap doesn’t really matter. HIGHLY recommended!

As advertised, great little everyday satchel. The full grain leather is fragrant and satisfying, lots of character even in the smooth black. Love the finishing touches on the edges. The hyper minimalist brass closure pin was a little annoying to close at first, but after a handful of uses the leather is already loosening and it’s more functional. For me, the strap is a little long— though in the last hole it still fits just right for walking and riding. And I think it would be helpful if the interior divider was actually a pocket as opposed to open at the bottom. Some kind of basic organizer or letting would be nice, but now I’m nitpicking a beautiful streamlined piece. Really nice one overall, Popov!
