TWO WIDTHS, ONE STANDARD OF MAKING
The 1.5 inch strap is our classic width and passes through the belt loops on any pair of jeans. The 1 inch is the dress width, cut for trousers and chinos. Same leather, same hardware, same guarantee.
9OZ FULL-GRAIN, NOT A COATED SPLIT
Department store belts crack because they are layers of scrap bonded together under a finish. When the finish wears through, the belt peels. Ours is a single 9oz strap of full-grain leather with the grain intact. There is nothing painted on to crack.
BURNISHED AND POLISHED EDGES
Every strap edge is burnished and polished by hand. Raw edges fray and split. Finished edges wear clean and pass smoothly through your hands.
A BUCKLE YOU CAN SWAP YOURSELF
Solid brass Chicago screws hold the buckle and keeper, so you can change the buckle without replacing the belt. On a bargain belt the buckle is usually the first thing to fail.
SIZED PROPERLY, 32 TO 52 INCHES
Measure the belt you wear now, from the fold at the buckle to the hole you use. If you have no belt to measure, take the waist size of your favourite jeans and add two inches.
