FULL-GRAIN, NOT GENUINE LEATHER
Genuine leather is a grade, and it is close to the bottom one. It usually means split hide or bonded scrap under a sprayed finish. Our totes are 3/4oz full-grain leather with the grain intact, the outer layer of the hide, and it is the only grade that develops a patina instead of peeling.
CHECK WHERE THE HANDLES ATTACH
This is where a tote fails, because it is where the whole load hangs. Ours are riveted through the stress points and machine sewn on the seams. If you only inspect one thing on a leather bag before you buy it, inspect this.
LEATHER THICK ENOUGH TO HOLD ITS SHAPE
A tote cut from thin split leather collapses into a floppy sack the first time you load it properly. Ours is 3/4oz, heavy enough to stand up on its own and to soften as it breaks in rather than sag.

Will a laptop fit?
Yes, in the Weekender. It is sized to carry a laptop alongside your everyday things. The Everyday tote fits a small tablet rather than a full laptop.
Do the totes have a zipper?
No. Both totes are open top. The Weekender has an inside pocket, an outside pocket and a brass key keeper clip, and the Everyday has an interior pocket. If you want a bag that zips closed, our leather toiletry bag is the one in the range with a zipper.
What does the lifetime guarantee cover?
