The last bifold wallet you will ever buy. Handmade in Nelson, British Columbia from thick full-grain leather, this is the flagship Popov bifold. Cut to the real carry size, saddle-stitched by hand with waxed Tiger thread from Julius Koch, and finished with hand-burnished edges.

Six card slots fit up to 12 cards (two per pocket), and the full-width billfold holds a folded stack of US, Canadian, or UK bills. Dimensions: 4.3" wide by 3.3" tall by 0.5" thick, sized for a back pocket.

Full-grain leather softens with use, darkens into a rich patina, and moulds to the shape of your carry. Four colours: Natural, English Tan, Heritage Brown, and Black. Backed by our lifetime guarantee. If it ever fails, we repair or replace it free of charge.

This lifetime warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship and doesn't apply if damage is caused by unreasonable use or neglect or normal wear and tear.

Our current supplier is Seidel, a North American tannery that supplies Popov with consistent, top-of-hide cuts. Full-grain leather is the only grade that develops a true patina: scars, marbling, and subtle colour shifts that make each wallet one-of-a-kind. Unlike top-grain or bonded wallets, this leather only looks better with age. Two years in, your bifold will be softer, darker, and moulded to your carry.

Saddle-Stitched by Hand

Every Traditional Bifold is saddle-stitched by hand using the two-needle method. We use Ritza 25 Tiger thread from Julius Koch, a braided, lightly waxed polyester thread widely regarded as the strongest hand-stitching thread available. Saddle stitching means if any single stitch ever breaks, the rest hold, so the wallet cannot unravel the way a machine lockstitch can. Paired with hand-burnished edges and solid construction, this is a wallet built to outlast its first owner, and that is exactly why we back every one with a lifetime guarantee.
