January Updates: Welcome to the Workshop

At Popov Leather, we’re proud to be a brand our customers can trust. Starting in 2024 we plan to take that a step further.

Each month, we plan to highlight current and upcoming events so you know exactly what to expect. Our goal is to treat you like a member of the team. After all, without our customers, we wouldn’t be here.

Welcome to the workshop! 

We're starting the year off with two special sales and a sweepstakes event.

One of our more exciting January updates, this month we re-launch some of our favorite products with a crisp facelift. 

Starting this week, you’ll find us re-introducing our coasters and keychains with one notable update. We’re using our brand new heat-stamping press to create crisp impressions that will last a lifetime. 

Not only that, but we’re introducing a new Sasquatch design that we think you’re going to love. Whether you call it Bigfoot, Yeti, or Sasquatch, these legends have swept across North America for years. As a proud Canadian-based company that exclusively uses leather tanned in the United States, we’re excited to feature a nod to this local lore on our new lineup of coasters and keychains. 

We are working hard to bring new Popov Leather items to our website. Every time we launch a new product, we make sure the details are just right, featuring the high-quality manufacturing you've come to expect. 

In the workshop this month, we’re working hard to bring you a new lineup of hats featuring our custom leather patches. We’re hoping to have these hats ready by March, in time for Popov Leather’s 11-year anniversary. 

The hats will be available in a variety of colors, with options for either rounded or rectangular patches in different styles. As with our coasters and keychains, these patches will be printed using our heat-stamping press, ensuring a crisp, clear design. And with an early Spring launch, you can have your new hat in your hands well before camping season kicks off this year.

One of our goals for 2024 is to showcase a new leather color each quarter. These leather hues will be available for a limited time only and will be featured on a belt and matching accessories. We’ll be kickstarting this next month. This brown leather we’re featuring is unlike any we’ve seen before and has a stunning finish. 

This new leather is also notable because it’s an extra-thick, 13 oz leather. Our traditional leather belts are 9 oz belts, so if you’ve been on the hunt for something exceptionally thick and durable, this is your opportunity. 

Not sure what the difference between a 9 oz or a 13 oz belt is? Each ounce is equivalent to about 0.4 millimeters.
