Popov sent me the large bag in English tan instead of the smaller tote that I ordered. I emailed them and they took care of it right away, sending a mailing stamp via email- and Whitney, who took care of me, was very quick to reply. I was originally eyeballing the cherry coloured tote, but it wasn’t online anymore so I inquired in my email whether I could get it in cherry leather. During this whole process I was deciding whether or not to send back the mistake bag or keep it, because even though it was the bigger version, it was still beautiful. I mean the quality of leather for the English tan was nice and thick. The texture for it was very subtle but interesting as it has varying areas of light and dark. Plus it smells like leather. Note that in real life the colour of the leather is more soft and subtle than the photos online. Anyways I ended up getting a small cherry leather bag as they had cherry leather in stock. And in the end kept the mistake because why not. Lol. So I have both the English tan in large and the cherry tote in small. Both have two pockets inside. I literally carry the small cherry one everywhere because the colour is such a nice deep red and the size is just right for me. Note: the leather for the cherry is a lot softer compared to the English tan so it was easy to break in and now my bag looks amazing. It has so much character and looks like a leather bag. Every time I look at it, I literally go “DAMN”. Lol. As per the English tan, I don’t use it as much because although it’s nice, it’s big. So I’ll save it for when I need to carry a ton of such and still want to carry a nice bag. Shoutout to Whitney from customer service!! Customer service here is amazing. Does the leather pictured look exactly like the product I will receive?
Please be aware that every roll of leather absorbs dyes differently and colouring may appear slightly different than shown in our pictures. Finally, this is a hand-made piece; expect minor imperfections - this is what makes your product unique and gives it character.
Our Chromexcel leathers do not require initial treatment. We reccomend that this leather gets cleaned and conditioned every 6-12 months with Saddle Soap and our leather cleaner.
